To Our Pillars of Purpose — The Executives and Members of WAELE AFRICA.

Twenty-two years ago, a vision was born — not merely as an organization, but as a covenant with African women and with the continent itself. A covenant to unlock potential, to break barriers, and to place women at the very heart of Africa’s economic and leadership future.

Today, as we mark this remarkable milestone, my heart overflows with profound gratitude — not for what I have built, but for what we have built together.

To every executive who has given their intellect, their time, and their passion to this mission: you did not simply hold a title — you held the torch.

You led with courage when the road was uncertain, with grace when the work was hard, and with unwavering commitment when it would have been easier to walk away. WAELE AFRICA stands tall today because you stood firm.

To every member who has dedicated themselves to service: you are the heartbeat of this organization. In every community you touched, every woman you mentored, every policy you influenced, and every life you changed — you embodied the very purpose for which WAELE AFRICA was founded.

Service to humanity is never ordinary work, and you have never treated it as such.

Twenty-two years is not simply a number — it is 22 years of voices amplified, of glass ceilings shattered, of women stepping into boardrooms, government chambers, and market squares with confidence and authority.

It is 22 years of proof that when women lead, Africa thrives.

I am humbled to have walked this journey with such extraordinary human beings. You have made this organization greater than any single founder could ever dream.

The sacrifices you have made — the peace missions/summits, the late nights, the long journeys, the quiet acts of service that no award captured — I see them, I honor them, and Africa is better because of them.

As we enter our 23rd year, let us carry forward the fire that has brought us this far. The work is not finished — it has only grown more urgent and more powerful.

And I know, with absolute certainty, that the best of WAELE AFRICA is still ahead of us.

To our executives and members: thank you. Not just from me as your founder, but from every woman in Africa whose life has been touched by your dedication.

You are not just members of an organization — you are architects of a new Africa.

With deepest gratitude, immense pride, and an unwavering belief in all that we are yet to accomplish.

Hearty Congratulations my dear Sister for this huge achievement. It's easier to start; but sustainability has always been the bane of women's organisations. And you have shown it can be done for ALL of 22 years. Well Done. I wish and pray for many more years of successful impacts.
