He attributes the success of his business to the fact that more than 34% of his senior managers are women. This number is way above the global average.

According to Ma, women know how to balance logic and instinct. In his own words at a recent conference, women are the “secret sauce” of a company.

And how right he (Jack Ma) was in hiring women. Today, Alibaba has grown at a rate of 50% per annum. That expansion is nothing short of spectacular!

Whether in the boardroom or at home, women have been known to be exemplary decision makers who should be taken seriously. Here’s why.

1. Women Tend to Be Focused and Organized
Women are often good at focusing, organizing, and prioritizing. When at home, a woman can be holding a crying baby in one arm, a spatula in the other, and still be able to calmly answer a business call like it is the most natural thing to do.
